Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 September 2026

This policy describes what actually happens on this site today. Sections marked Not currently in use describe technologies we may add later; this page will be updated before they are switched on, not after.

Who we are

AI Decode Wire is a publication operated by an individual. Contact details are on our Contact page.

What we collect

Server logs

Our web host records standard technical information when you visit: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, the pages requested, and timestamps. This is a normal part of running a web server and is used for security and diagnostics.

Comments

Not currently in use. Comments are disabled site-wide, so no comment data is collected. If comments are enabled later, this section will be updated first to describe what is stored.

Contact messages

If you contact us, we retain your message and your email address so we can reply and keep track of the conversation.

Cookies

Essential cookies only, at present. WordPress sets cookies for logged-in site administrators. With comments disabled and no analytics or advertising in place, an ordinary reader is not given any tracking cookie by this site. Our host may set a cookie required by its caching layer.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not share it with third parties except the service providers described below.
  • We do not attempt to identify individual readers.

Analytics

Not currently in use. If we add analytics (most likely Google Analytics 4), this section will be updated first to describe what is collected and how to opt out.

Advertising

Not currently in use. We have not applied for or been approved for any advertising network, and no ads are served on this site.

If we add display advertising in future, this section will be updated before any ad code goes live to describe the network used, the cookies involved, and your choices. Where required — including for visitors in the UK and EEA — we will use a consent management platform that asks for your permission before any advertising or measurement cookies are set.

Affiliate links

Some articles may contain affiliate links, meaning the merchant can tell that you arrived from this site, usually via a cookie set on their domain. Their privacy policy governs what they collect. See our Affiliate Disclosure — we are not currently enrolled in any affiliate program.

Newsletter

Not currently in use. There is no signup form on this site because there is no newsletter yet. If one is added, this section will describe the provider and what happens to your address.

Embedded content

Articles may embed content from other sites (for example a video or a social post). Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited that site, and those sites may collect data about you and set their own cookies. We keep embeds to a minimum.

Service providers

  • Web hosting: Hostinger, which processes server logs and stores the site’s data.
  • Additional providers will be listed here if and when they are added.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to it. To exercise any of these, or to ask what we hold about you, contact us. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

If you are in the UK or EEA, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change, and change the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the page.
