What I do
I build AI automation for small businesses and teams. Not demos — the boring, useful kind that runs every day and quietly removes work from someone’s plate.
If you have read anything on this site, you already know how I think about this: most AI automation projects fail because they automate something impressive rather than something repetitive. The work worth doing is usually less exciting and considerably more valuable.
The kind of work this covers
- Repetitive admin — the copy-paste between systems, the weekly report someone assembles by hand.
- Lead handling and follow-up — capturing enquiries, routing them, and making sure none go cold.
- Customer service workflows — drafting responses, triaging tickets, surfacing the right answer from your own documentation.
- Content workflows — research, drafting and repurposing pipelines that keep your voice.
- Internal AI assistants — a system that answers questions from your own documents rather than from the open internet.
- Reporting — pulling numbers from the places they live into something a person will actually read.
How it works
- A conversation. What is taking time, who does it, how often. Usually 30 minutes, no charge.
- A written scope. What gets built, what it will and will not do, what it costs, how long. You approve it before anything starts.
- Build and handover. You get the working system plus documentation for how it runs.
- Optional maintenance. These systems need occasional attention when the tools underneath them change. Some clients want that handled; some prefer to own it.
What I will tell you honestly
- Sometimes the answer is “don’t”. If a workflow runs twice a month and takes ten minutes, automating it is a hobby, not an investment. I would rather say so than build it.
- Sometimes you already own the tool. A lot of what people want built is a feature of software they already pay for. I will tell you when that is the case.
- AI is not reliable for everything. Anything where a wrong answer is expensive needs a human checkpoint, and I will design one in rather than pretend otherwise.
What I am not going to claim
I am not going to show you invented client logos, made-up case studies, or a percentage improvement I cannot substantiate. This is a working business, not a marketing page with fictional social proof. If you want to see how I think about a problem, the articles are a better sample than any testimonial would be.
